The British Curriculum at the School of Scientific Innovation (SSI)

Curriculum
The School of Scientific Innovation (SSI) offers a comprehensive British curriculum, catering to the diverse needs of students in preparation for future careers and university. As a Cambridge certified school, it provides a broad range of core and compulsory subjects, including Modern Foreign Languages, Humanities, Global Perspective, and Business. The curriculum emphasizes innovation, inclusivity, and a strong foundation in ICT, Art and Design, Athletics, and Social Studies. Students are guided based on their learning preferences and cognitive abilities, ensuring a well-rounded development.
In the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), students engage in game-based learning, experiential activities, and inquiry-based learning, creating a vibrant and inclusive environment that develops sensory awareness, challenges intellects, and sparks interests.
In Key Stages 1 & 2, students study a range of subjects, undergo CAT 4 exams to identify learning profiles, and benefit from dedicated Quran classes. Key Stages 3 and 4 focus on board examination preparation, with a wide-ranging curriculum that maximizes awareness of global issues, foreign languages, humanities, and core subjects. The school provides reliable formative and summative exams, along with focused counseling, to prepare students for IGCSE exams. All students undergo standardized PT tests to monitor progress at each milestone, and CAT 4 serves as the foundation for identifying learning profiles and informing differentiation techniques. The curriculum undergoes regular reviews by stakeholders and the academic panel to stay current with equivalence requirements.
